All outfits are made by local tailors specialized in African dress 2020.

My bridesmaids had a fuchsia and yellow pattern, and different styles

went from a pencil skirt to a jumpsuit. The committee wore turquoise,

Sam’s family wore dark purple and yellow, and my aunts wore a lilac.

After going through what looked like 100 options for my own dress,

I finally decided to go for light yellow lace and accessory with a bright pattern,

if I wanted to look bridal but stand at the same time.

I had minimal involvement in the planning of the party, other than sticking

with my nose in with the design ideas once in a while, so I am really grateful to

all my family and friends who worked so hard to make the party together.

There was a particularly hilarious moment when a group of my

sister and her friends decided to be called after an interpretive Beyoncé medley, without much danger.

A few hours in the Kitchen Party, Sam was called to come to the place

along with four of his friends for the official arrival of the Groom.
